It was another clean sweep of victories over the weekend for BCP Pro Circuit Honda riders Anthony Atanasovski and Trent Collins as the buildup continues towards the National Junior Championships late September.

Anthony Atanasovski on board his small wheel Honda CRF150R not only won all three races at Balranald, he also took the overall in the ‘big wheel’ category while still competing on his small wheel bike. The number 11 rider has won an impressive six events since joining the BCP Pro Circuit Honda squad just three short months ago.

“I never imagined that I would find it so much easier to race the 150cc four stroke than the 85cc two stroke,” said Atanasovski.

“The main thing is the starts! Since hopping on this bike we’ve had 12 of the last 14 holeshots and it makes life so much easier. I need to keep working on my intensity and get a little stronger but I couldn’t be happier with how everything is going.”

Trent Collins continues his lead up to the junior Nationals back home in New Zealand and once again dominated over the weekend winning every race that he contested. It has been an almost unbeaten 12 month period for Collins back in New Zealand which included winning the National Junior Motocross Championships some six months ago.

“Everything seems to be clicking nicely,” said Collins after his recent win over the weekend.

“Our buildup is solid and I can’t wait to head back to Australia in a couple of weeks for the Aussie Juniors. Last year’s second place behind my team mate Taj Marshall was really good but I want to go one better for my final year in juniors.”

The remaining team members Taj Marshall and Tom Bell continued their training over the weekend after both coming off race wins in the week prior.

“All four of our riders are fit, healthy and in a good head space as we get ready for September,” said team manager Lee Hogan.

“The National Junior Titles are the only 6 day motocross event in Australia and you really need to be on your game if you’re going to do well. We’ll put our best foot forward this year once again for Honda and all of sponsors.”
