BCP Pro Circuit Honda Junior Development Team rider Benny Novak has taken victory at the final round of the East Coast MX Series on board his BCP Honda CRF150R. On a dry and dusty day at the Cessnock Motorcycle Club, Novak was put to the test in moto one after getting a flat tyre with two laps to go. Novak would hang on for a gritty fourth place before rebounding to finish a close second in motos two and three for the day. The consistent results were enough to give the New South Welshman the overall win on the day.

“It’s great to test ourselves against the fastest 85cc riders in the country,” said Novak.
“I’m happy with my speed and the bike is awesome, but I just need to get back down to Victoria and work on these starts again as we head towards the Aussie Juniors.”

Benny Novak also contested the A grade 250cc class at Cessnock and would finish a strong second place overall on the day behind Blake Fox.

Novak’s Factory Honda Junior team mate Madi Healey participated in the Victorian ‘Northern Regions’ event over the weekend at Swan Hill and earned herself a win against the girls. Continuing her stellar run in 2019!

“There’s a slight break in the calendar for our championship events now until the National Junior Championships in October so we are just out there keeping the race fitness up,” said Healey.

Training and final preparation for the National Junior Titles will continue throughout September as the biggest event of the year edges closer.

“I’m really happy with where the team is at with all four riders currently fit and healthy,” said Team Manager Lee Hogan.

“The next 5 weeks are critical as far as our final preparation goes, but we are in a good position to achieve our goals come October,” continued Hogan.

The National Junior MX Titles will be held at the MRA circuit in Gillman, South Australia from September 30th to October 5th.
