BCP Pro Circuit Honda ready for Rd 2 of the Vic Junior Titles at Colac

After a recent successful stint in Western Australia training for the upcoming National Junior MX Championships the BCP Pro Circuit Honda Junior Development Team consisting of Taj Marshall and Jai Constantinou are chomping at the bitt for this weekend’s Round 2 of the Victorian Junior State MX Championships. The event will be held at the sandy Colac circuit with expected sunny conditions for their race day come Sunday.

Team rider Taj Marshall has had a stellar start to the season and is coming of the back of two straight wins.
“I’m hoping for a good, consistent result this weekend and hopefully we can build on our momentum,” said Marshall.
“Our bikes are great and my training has been right where I want it to be. I’m fit and healthy and can’t wait for the drop of the gate.”
Jai Constantinou is a rookie to the 250cc class for 2015 but has already exceeded expectations with his speed and smoothness on the big bike.
“I’m really just hoping to build on what we achieved from Round 1,” said Jai.
“I was stoked to be hovering around fourth place for a lot of the day and I’ve got to say I kind of surprised myself a little bit. I did notice that I needed to go away and work on my strength to be able to hold that pace in the rough conditions for the full length of the motos. I’m looking forward to seeing if all the work will pay off this weekend.”

The team’s CRF150cc gun Morgan Fogarty unfortunately will sit out this event after breaking his lower leg prior to Round 1. Fogarty was unstoppable on the 150cc winning all three events that he had entered in since signing for the team earlier in the year. The young gun will have his first ride back on the bike early next week after missing the last 8 weeks as he sets his goals on the remainder of the year.

Taj Marshall currently holds down third place overall in the premier A Grade 250cc class after two solid second placings in the final two races while team-mate Jai Constantinou sits in a comfortable fifth place overall. The Victorian Junior State MX Championships will head next to Cobram on the 13th and 14th of June after the completion of this weekend’s races.
