Constantinou dominates at Horsham as World Junior Titles Announced

BCP Pro Circuit Honda Junior Development rider Jai Constantinou has secured his first win of the season, dominating the Yamaha Junior MX Amateur Titles on board his Honda CRF250R. The 15 year old from Lysterfield in Victoria won all three motos on the day, taking a clean sweep of the premiere A grade 250cc class.

“It was great to get the win today,” said Constantinou.

“I feel that everything is coming together nicely and I’m feeling so comfortable on the bike.”

The day was not only a successful hit-out for the BCP Pro Circuit Honda Junior squad but for Australian Junior Motocross in general as the Horsham Motorcycle Club announced they will be hosting the World Junior Motocross Championships in 2018. Club president Kenny Watts along with his close-knit committee has played an integral role in recent years with the clubs success and likewise with this major achievement.

“We’ve had rounds of the MX Nationals here in the past and of course the 2013 Australian Junior Nationals held here ran like clockwork. But this is something that we are truly over the moon about,” said Watts.

This weekend’s Wonthaggi round of the Gippsland Centre Series will see the BCP Pro Circuit Honda Junior Development Team together aiming for the top step of the podium once again as we head towards the business end of the year.
