“I’m really enjoying the big bike and racing against the older kids,” said McInnes.

“My size is helping me on the bigger bike but I just need to get my starts a little more on point and I’ll be right in there battling for podiums.”

Reigning 250cc Junior Champion Cambell Williams was on rails during the early stages of the day however having a huge crash while leading moto 2 and was taken to hospital for observations.

Team manager Lee Hoganhad this to say on the weekends results.

“I’m so proud of Madi getting her first senior win so early in the season! Hixson has been working extremely hard in the off season and I could tell at our January Boot Camp that he was going to ruffle some feathers against the older boys this year. I know how hard Cambell has been training and we’re all keeping our fingers crossed that he’ll be back on the bike real soon. Overall, a terrific weekend for the team,” said Hogan.
