It has been an incredible fortnight for BCP Pro Circuit Honda Junior Development Team rider Madi Healey, as the Shepparton based youngster who was recently crowned Victorian State Junior Motocross champion just one week ago has earned herself a hat-trick of wins at the Hattah Desert Race.  The 15 year old Honda rider dominated the event, qualifying fastest in Saturday morning’s Prologue before storming to a huge win of over 20 minutes in the afternoons race that lasted just over two hours and fifteen minutes. In a strong field of over 27 junior girls Healey would win the category while finishing an impressive 18th overall out of 280 junior boys and girls.

“I’ve really got a soft spot for this event,” said Healey.

“It has to be one of the biggest events in the country, with over 800 riders racing and around 250 juniors alone. It’s just an incredible event to participate in! It has been an awesome couple of weeks, wrapping up the state title last weekend in the mud and now getting the win here at Hattah. I’m just trying to enjoy the ride and keep putting in the hard work,” continued Healey.

Jason Bradley from Honda Marketing has been impressed with the team’s recent run of results.

“Madi has had an amazing season so far on board the CRF250R and her impressive win at Hattah over the weekend is well deserved,” said Jason.

Testing and training for outdoor motocross will now ramp up as the BCP Pro Circuit Honda Junior Development Team start their preparation for the National Junior Motocross Championships which will be held at the Gillman circuit near Adelaide, SA. In early October.
