With a slight break in the junior championship calendar the BCP Pro Circuit Honda Junior squad dispersed over the weekend, contesting three different events in two separate states. Current National Junior MX Champion Benny Novak took part in the Bega Amcross event in NSW and had a dream run on both bikes, winning all three races on board his BCP Honda CRF150R and CRF250R machines.

“It feels great to get the win on both bikes, and we’re starting to gain some good momentum going into the final half of the season,” said Novak.

Novak’s team-mates Dominic Walker and Madi Healey both contested the Albury round of the Northern Regions, with Walker winning both motos on board his CRF250R while Madi Healey finished a solid third place on the day against the boys.

Team manager Lee Hogan is happy with the weekend’s results going into the final round of the Victorian Junior MX Titles next weekend.

“The whole team are really going strong at the moment,” said Hogan.

“It’s so good to see Dom keeping his impressive run of results going and Benny has been incredibly strong through the mid part of this season. It’s also great to see Madi in there with a solid podium against the boys as she does her final preparation for the last round of the Vic state titles this coming weekend where she is currently undefeated for the series. You just never know what kind of weather Ballarat will throw at you at this time of the year so the riders will be out in the mud training this week so we’re prepared for anything.”

New recruit Sam Simpson kept his podium run alive over the weekend with a third place overall at the Warrnambool Western Regions!

The BCP Pro Circuit Honda Junior Development Team will join together this weekend the 29th and 30th June as they tackle the final round of the Victorian Junior MX Titles.
