The hard pack Byford circuit situated just on the outskirts of Perth was the site for Round 2 of the WA State MX Titles over the weekend.
BCP HAS Honda Junior Development Team riders Seth Shackleton and Leah Rimbas put on a clinic during Sunday’s Junior races with both riders extending their championship points lead going 1-1-1 in their respective classes. With Shackleton racing the Junior 250cc class while Rimbas lined up in Junior Girls!

“It was good to bounce back today after a couple of dramas yesterday in the MX3 class,” said Shackleton.
“We’re working really hard to dial in both my riding and bike set up on the hard pack and today was another step forwards. I’m really looking forward to Gillman Pro MX in two weeks time.”

In the Junior Girls class Leah Rimbas steered her Honda CRF250R to three wins from three starts!

“The track got really quite choppy today but my bike was working awesome in the rough conditions,” said Rimbas.
“We’ve been doing quite a bit of work on the hard pack so it was good to put it into race practice out there.”
