It was a successful Easter long weekend for the BCP Honda Factory Junior Team as both of the male team riders won their selected events on opposite sides of the country!
14 year old young gun Seth Shackleton took a strong victory at Round 1 of the WA State Junior MX titles in the A grade 250cc class on Saturday at the iconic Manjimup circuit! But it was the following day where he impressed the most, winning the final MX3 moto of the day by a whopping 20 seconds at the Senior State Titles!

“I love the Manjimup track and it was great to start our WA state titles with a win,” said Shackleton.
“Tomorrow we head east again for the next round of ProMX at Wodonga which is where our focus has been at with the MX3 class. I’ve been working closely with Lee (Hogan) on my starts since the last round at Appin and they’re feeling so much better. I can’t wait to line up this weekend!”

On the other side of the country it was 15 year old Hixson McInnes who continued his run of recent success with another strong win. This time at Round 1 of the Amcross Series which was held at the Far South Coast Motorcycle Club!

“It feels good to be healthy and have a string of strong results going,” said McInnes.
“We’ll take this momentum into this coming weekend at Wodonga Pro MX and try to get that BCP Honda up towards the pointy end of the field in MX3.”

The third member of the team and reigning girls champ Darci Whalley will start her season campaign in coming weeks.
