Young 14 year old Darci Whalley from Calliope in Central Queensland has signed a 2 year deal with the Factory BCP Yoshimura Honda Junior Development Team that will see her finish her junior career on board the Honda CRF250R come the end of 2023!

The multi time champion has gone from strength to strength in the last 12 months and is in a prime position to really make her mark in the Australian junior MX scene!

“This is a dream come true to be able to ride for the Factory Honda Junior Team and I already feel super comfy on the new bike straight away,” said Whalley.
“It’s been really good up here in Queensland to be able to race against the older girls during a period where the Queensland scene is so strong. Riding and racing with Charli Cannon before she turns senior soon has really fast tracked my improvement and I can’t explain how excited I am to get racing started on the new team.” Continued Whalley.

Darci will complete alongside her BCP Yoshimura Honda team mates throughout 2022 on board the all new CRF250R in all major state and national events with her main focus being on the National Junior Titles which will be held near her hometown in Rockhampton, Nth Qld in 2022!

“I’m so happy to be able to continue our tradition of having a gun junior girl as part of our official Factory Team once again,” said Team Manager Lee Hogan.
“Since starting the team back in 2015 we’ve brought through both Tanesha Harnett and Madi Healey on multi year deals who both won 5 championships between them and continue to race at the head of the pack on Honda machinery as senior Women here in Australia. Darci has placed her sights firmly on heading to Europe in the future so we’ll do everything we can to give her the best opportunity to shine over the next two years.”

The BCP Yoshimura Honda Junior Development Team will continue with long term partners Fox Racing and Michelin Tyres as the new season gets underway!
