Multi time National Junior Motocross Champion Seth Shackletonhas joined the successful BCP Honda Junior Development Team on a multi year deal that will see the young 14 year old Western Australian superstar on board red machines at least until the completion of the 2024 race season. Shackleton will spend the 2023 season travelling the country side competing in both his local WA state based races along with the National Pro MX Series competing in the ultra competitive MX3 class.

“I’m so pumped to be on board the Honda CRF250R and I’ve been loving the whole set up so far,” said Shackleton.
“Our main focus for next year is to be competitive in the Pro MX MX3 class and be up the pointy end of the field. I’ve got an awesome bike and great team behind me so we’ll see what we can do!”

Team Manager Lee Hoganis excited with the prospect of working with the Western Australian young gun!

“I’ve watched Shacks grow up and had the pleasure of coaching him since he was a young 7 year old racing the 50cc Auto class,” said Hogan.
“It’s quite rare to have so much natural talent with such a strong work ethic and desire to win. It’s a dangerous combination so I’m really looking forward to seeing what he can do in this MX3 class as a young 14 year old with all this support behind him.”

Shackleton already has multiple wins under his belt in the local WA MX3 class on board the 2023 Honda CRF250R.
Round One of the Pro MX series gets underway March 5th at the Wonthaggi circuit in Victoria!
