BCP Honda Off Road riders Kyron Bacon and Baylee Davies continued their strong run of results over the weekend as both riders extended their respective championship points lead at the Yolla round of the Tasmanian Off Road Series.

On Saturday Kyron Bacon kept his win streak alive with another four wins from four starts.

“I love the grass track events and the track was just awesome today,” said Bacon.
“We are just a couple of weeks away from the next round of the AORC and I feel like I’m in really good form to keep challenging for overall wins. I can’t wait!” continued Bacon.

Sunday’s event at Yolla saw the skies open up and a much more tricky and technical track as the mud made the going difficult. Baylee Davies started off the day with a heat win and a solid holeshot in the final. A large crash during the main event would relegate Davies back to second place where he would finish the race. The second place points on the day would see Davies extend his championship lead in the Premiere Ironman category by another 6 points to now hold down a substantial 22 point lead in the title hunt.

“It was tough going out there in the mud today but we were on pace and got a solid start in the main event,” said Davies.

“I had a decent size cartwheel in the mid stages of the event which cost me any chance of the win today. We’ll re group now for the AORC and then back into it for the remainder of the TERC series.”
