BCP Pro Circuit Honda Junior Motocross racer and part time Off Road rider Tanesha Harnett has wrapped up her second Championship in 2018 over the weekend as the NSW Off Road Series came to a close. The young Honda superstar in her final year of junior competition won 9 out of the 10 rounds that made up the championship in a dominating series campaign. With the final two rounds being held over the weekend as an Enduro-X at Maitland, just outside of Newcastle.

“It’s been fun this year to dip my toe in the water with the off roads,” said Harnett after wrapping up the title Sunday afternoon.

“But I have to be honest and say that motocross is where my heart is at. I’ve been working my butt off all year, trying to peak at the right time for the National Junior MX Titles in Tasmania which starts October 1st. And I’m fit, healthy and ready to go! It’s been a really fun and rewarding year so far and I can’t wait to see what October brings.”

Team Manager Lee Hogan is proud of his young riders efforts in 2018.

“This is Tanesha’s second year riding for us with the BCP Pro Circuit Honda Junior Development Team and she has really gone ahead in leaps and bounds this year. Last year she won the Vic State Title and NSW State Title while finishing second in the National Junior Championships. But she has really shifted up a gear in 2018. She’s riding the 250 so much better, she’s training harder and making better decisions on the track. It will be sad to see her leave the team next year as she turns senior but it has been rewarding to play a role for her in her final two years of juniors.”

The National Junior Motocross Titles will be held at Penguin, Tasmania from October 1st to October 6th.
