BCP Honda Off Road Team Rider Baylee Davies has consolidated his lead in the Tasmanian Off Road Series over the weekend with a well earned victory after battling the entire race with arch rival Jonte Reynders. The event was Round 8 of the TERC at Sprent on the North West Coast of Tasmania and was an absolute mud-fest after rain drenched the area in days prior.
“It feels great to break the win drought from the last couple of rounds,” said Davies after the win.
“We’ve had a few rounds in a row where I’ve finished second each time, so to get the win here in such tough conditions is terrific with just two rounds to go.”
Davies now holds down a substantial 22 point lead in the championship as we approach the penultimate round.
“Baylee is just so consistent and he really shines in the tough conditions,” said team owner Lee Hogan.
“With a bit of luck he can keep those consistent results coming in the final two rounds.”
The next round of the Tasmanian Off Road Series will be held on the 13th and 14th of October at West Pine!
