Round One of the South Australian Junior Motocross Championships were held over the weekend at the sandy Renmark circuit in the Riverland region. And it was Victorian rider Kipp Adams on board his BCP Pro Circuit Honda Junior Development Team CRF250R that dominated proceedings in the A grade 250cc junior category. The young 15 year old battled his way to the front of the pack for a close win in moto one, before storming to comfortable victories in both moto two and moto three.

“It feels really good to get my first big win of the season out of the way,” said Adams.

“The bike was working really well, my starts were good and it all came together nicely today. I felt great on the bike!”

Team manager Lee Hogan is impressed with the progression of their new team recruit.

“Kipp has been working so hard and he’s a really determined kid,” said Hogan.

“He’s a big, tall kid too so its easy to forget that he still has another year of juniors in 2019. The main thing with Kipp is getting him to believe in himself and then he’s dangerous to any of his competitors in the country. And today’s dominant win will do wonders for his confidence.”

The BCP Pro Circuit Honda Junior Development Team will head to Murray Bridge in South Australia in two weeks time for Round 2 of the MX Nationals ‘Rookies Cup.’
