It was business as usual for BCP Off Road Honda riders Baylee Davies and Kyron Bacon over the weekend as both riders extended their respective championship points lead in the Tasmanian Off Road Series. Round 4 of the series was held at the ‘Coal Mine’ facility in perfect conditions and provided some sensational racing!

In the junior 250cc category it was Kyron Bacon who kept his unbeaten streak alive in 2018 winning 9 sprints from 9 starts.

“It’s great to keep the ball rolling here in Tasmania,” said Bacon.
“We are working our butts off in preparation for the next round of the AORC. The bike is working great and I’m feeling stronger each week!”

Bacon’s team mate Baylee Davies finished a strong second place in the premiere ‘Ironman’ category to Jonte Reynders, but managed to extend his championship points lead by an extra 5 points over Lincoln Bird. Davies now has a 13 point lead overall going into Round 5.

“It was good to win a few sprints today and I felt great on the bike,” said Davies.
“Jonte was riding really well and deserved the win. It’s a long series and I know I need to be on the podium every round scoring points if we hope to wrap this championship up again for 2018. We’ve still got a long way to go.”

Both Tasmanian based BCP Off Road Honda riders will now set their focus on the upcoming AORC rounds 5 & 6 at Dungog in NSW on the 28th and 29th July.
