Tasmanian BCP Honda pilot Baylee Davies has wrapped up his home state MX championship over the weekend in convincing style, going undefeated on his way to winning all three points scoring races on the day. The event which was held at the Bridport Motorcycle club was the final round of the 2015 state motocross championship that saw many ups and downs for highly ranked riders.
“This is only my second state title win on the big 450cc machine but it was quite a few years ago that I won my last one,” said Davies.
“We had a good consistent year this year and everything just clicked. My CRF450R handled so well when the tracks got rough and it just made riding on the weekends a lot of fun. I’m so stoked to wrap up the final round with a clean sweep to cap off a solid year.”
“I’ve already done my deal with Lee Hogan for 2016 to once again ride for BCP Honda and I know the new model bikes are relatively unchanged for next year, so we already have such a good package to go racing with and try to back it up with another title in 2016.”
With the state championships finished for Baylee Davies and his Tasmanian competitors the riders will start to focus on the off season development before preparing for next years season.
