Marshall gets his second win in as many weeks on board his BCP Pro Circuit Honda

Team BCP Pro Circuit Honda Junior Development rider Taj Marshall has dominated yesterday’s proceedings at the Bunbury MCC in Western Australia. The event being a lead up to September’s National Junior Motocross Championships!

On board his Honda CRF250R Marshall won all three races against Western Australia’s best junior sand riders to clean sweep the event and in doing so proving that the top east coast racers are handy in the deep sand as well. Marshall’s team-mate Jai Constantinou finished with two second place finishes along with a fifth after a crash in moto one. Constantinou also impressed on the CRF150R where he earned himself a race win against WA gun Regan Duffy.

Taj Marshall’s dominant performance clearing out in each of the three motos was an impressive effort and will once again build confidence for the young 14 year old Victorian who just two weeks ago fought hard for a deserving win at the Nunawading ‘Good Friday Appeal’ race day where all proceeds go to the Royal Children’s Hospital.

“I really enjoy riding the sand,” said Marshall.

“When I first started racing my home track was Rosebud in Victoria and the sand seems almost bottomless on a little 65cc. It was great to get to do three days of coaching with Hoges and Timmy (Tim Vare) here during the week and then finish off with a win yesterday. Our bikes are working great and the whole team is just working really well together. I’m really looking forward now to Round 2 of the Vic titles and hope to keep this win streak alive.”

The BCP Pro Circuit Honda Junior Development Team next head to Colac on the 2nd and 3rd of May for Round 2 of the Victorian State Championships.
